The Owl Business Club is a new kind of business club, helping promote and market the businesses and people of Oldham and the surrounding areas.

We launched on Tuesday 27 March 2012, with a free event held at founding member Oldham Athletic's sponsors suite and we are now open for business!

The club will hold both breakfast and evening meetings to provide flexibility on attendance. There will be no formal referral system, no pressure. Members will be able to hold short presentations if they wish, and these will be reactive and timely, responding to the concerns of the members, new industry legislation and new opportunities. There will also be one to one sessions available if members would like them. The format is fluid and flexible and designed to suit all types of businesses. Alongside the regular meetings, the club will organise events throughout the year. The first event will be a golf day. There is a  ladies' evening planned, building up to a summer ball in 2013. All the events are great opportunities for networking, corporate entertainment and staff rewards. The club will also donate a portion of the club fees to charity, the first recipient will be Help the Hospices, the chosen charity of one of the three founder members and organisers, Oldham Athletic.

The club was formed by founding members Oldham Athletic and Owl Marketing.
